Hello, Friends!  It's been too long since we posted anything here or on Facebook.  We've noticed a lot of other bloggers and even some Etsy bizzes...are taking this month for a hiatus, and we've decided to do the same.  We will be reassessing where we want to go at this time, whether to continue or put things on hold.  We anticipated opening late this summer or early autumn!  The thing is, our elderly mother has Alzheimer's and is still living independently, but she really seems to be failing more again lately.  Thus, it's just time to take a look and decide for sure before we get into opening our online shop (whether alone or on Etsy), is this the right time for us.  Our personal lives may become busier sooner than later as Mom's condition likely worsens. 

We hope you will understand and keep us in mind for when we "come back," whether it is after Labor Day or some other time down the road.  Bev opened her Hollyhock Cottage store on Etsy, and she will continue on with it.  If you haven't checked it out yet, be sure to drop by http://www.hhcottage.com/ or the shop at http://www.etsy.com/shop/HollyhockCottage1. 

Just so you know, we are so grateful for all of you....whether you are following us here on the blog, on Facebook, Twitter,  Pinterest, and to all those who have already shown support by adding us to their circle on Etsy, even though we are not yet open!  We will miss you, Friends, but look forward to a comeback, and hope you'll join us again.  You may still see us with some new pins on Pinterest....after all, we all have to have a little diversion!
